Well well...I must say that alot of people have great remixes on this site...but alot of people aren't too sure what style my remix was done in. Well the style is called SOCA which is sort of a decendant of calypso music. It is alot more upbeat and more modern in sound. Soca music is the style( just as calypso ) that comes from Trinidad & Tobago..and is alot common around Carnival time.. but within recent times, soca has been around all year..and is what is played at most clubs. One of our soca stars is Mr Machel Montano..whose style is so diverse that he has done many collaborations with alot of international artistes like pitbull, lil john, wyclef just to name a few. Reggae is something different that comes from Jamaica...
