Sup all, I'm Steven Fletes, I'm known also as dj Xantos. I am 17 years old and from Las Vegas. I've been doing work with FL Studio since '07 but I still see myself as a novice with lots to learn.
I have no formal musical experience except like guitar when i was like 5, but other than that. Nothing. I, surprisingly got into the music making flow when my friend got me into Dance Dance Revolution when i was around 13 or 14. When I wasn't taping my feet to the songs, i would listen to the cool ones, from there I got into making my own music. I ended up jumping on a band wagon of people making their own music for a fan-made DDR game called Stepmania for the PC.
From there on my music experience grew and I learned the tricks of the trade of electronic music since I was 14. When I got into another music game called beatmaniaIIDX, my inspirations for multi-genre music shifted into full force, creating a new feel to my music because of those talent artists that make such power tracks.
I'm here at Indaba now, after 2 years of searching for a proper place to settle my music and was lucky enough to find it advertised on my favorite show, The Colbert Report. :D The place I used to hang out in was unfair and informal and a plain mess (Newgrounds = yuck). But now, I'm here to show the world my talent however I can and to improve my craft.
