Hey I've released two new songs, both pretty mainstream hip hop because they're both for remix contests

The first one is T-Shirt with Shontelle
And the second is Angel with Natasha Bedingfield

T-shirt- http://www.indabamusic.com/songs/show/210987
Angel- http://www.indabamusic.com/songs/show/210460

Just tell me how u feel? Advice would be appreciated I'm always keen for constructive criticism!!

Any beats that you could do that could have old school styling put to it or even a fresh bouncier type to it? Anything that you think would be right into the market of todays youths. At the end of the day mate it's all about the youths and trying to show them that it ain't all about drugs, guns and violence. Thats all I am trying to show. Let me know if you have any ideas. Something dark or bouncy. Holla back.

Hey mate!!! How was your New Year? Any New Year resolutions? I hope 09 is a very good one for you! ;-)
I have loaded up a new track called Cumulonimbus, I wondered if you had a few mins just to leave me some feedback? I hope you have a good evening mate!

I think you're right about there being no sevcrets in production. I think my problem is that I prefer to create the music rather than mix and maaster so I tend to rush the process. My own fault! I am slowly coming to grips with how to get the most out of a tune though. It the automation that I don't enjoy doing! How about you? WHat part of the process do you enjoy the most?

What up G I uploaded some recent beats i made check me out if you have a min and let me know what you think for 6 months into it thanks bro peace

Heidi Whurr wrote on December 7, 2008:

Wow! Mate, you are going places. I love what you've done on these tracks they sound top notch! Well done! Have you any production secrets? I have no trouble coming up with the goods but mixing and mastering is always a let down with me. You have done such a fabulous job on all your tracks how do you do it?
Not to mention the fact that I love the simplicity of your music, it is very simple but effective, I especially love Full Moon, it almost sounds like a Trip Hop track but with a fusion of al sorts of other genres, very well done!

Spikey Jay wrote on September 25, 2008:

Sup bro! Nice new beats - 'Gravity' is hoppin' man - with the right lyrics/melody and perhaps a little more percussion work and some bass incorporated into the track, I can see Danity Kane backing that shit or something! That melody that you've got throughout the track may just be the right one for the vocals - I'm liking it man. Nice job on 'Dark Night' and 'Full Moon' as well - titles both relate to a similar theme, and both beats have a similar 'mysteriousness' to them. I like the interchanging between the diatonic and almost 'atonal'/12-tonal Eastern themes. As for 'Dark Night', with a touch more percussive/melodic elements, I can definitely hear some badass CRUNK rapping over that. Kudos bro! I should have three mixes up within the next few days - I'll post a blog or something when I post em and let you know! Hope all's good with you! - Spikey

Sick new track bro! Powerful as hell as soon as that beat drops at the beginning of the song! I love that guitar/sitar-ish sounding theme at 0:36, and then the strings that enter at 0:54 introduce a nice high-end element to the mix. Lyrics are cool too - definitely hit home for me, and all of us here. I love when you're rapping and Scorpio's singing under the rap - almost like the two of you are harmonizing. Nicely done my friend!

Spikey Jay wrote on September 5, 2008:

You got it bro - if you can send me a link, I'll take a listen to it during my lunch break today if that's cool.
