I also do up and coming songwriter/artist demos, and (:30 to 1:00 min.) voice-over commercial reels, visual promotions, and image consulting, so let me know what you need.

Working With Others

How I Work:

I prefer to create (basic track) musical arrangements for accomplished musicians (guitar, bass, keys, horns, etc.), and of course, vocalists. Especially vocalist and spoken word artists.

I love layers and depth on a track, but music that breathes rhythm and has great dynamics is very important to me.

I also love adding drums/percussion, keyboards, or lyric/melody to pre-existing demos.

Can write lyric/melody to specific styles if necessary, or help create radio friendly finished audio. To end up with a unique sonic experience.

I'm serious about music, a good collaborator, musically diverse, and open to experimentation and alternative approaches when constructing tracks.

I love music with atmosphere, strong grooves, and an edge for communicating a message. I write and produce all the time (I practically live in the studio) and will be posting new tracks periodically. So please keep me bookmarked.

If you are a music supervisor, publisher, or producer looking to place music in productions, get at me, OK?!!
Serious only please.
Thanks!!!

Experience:

I have 22 years as a vocalist, songwriter/musician/programmer, specializing in keyboards, and electronic or acoustic percussion.

10 years producing and arranging music and vocals.

A good lyricist/melodist, who is creative, open, and forward thinking. I like great music period, and love a challenge to create what is needed on a project.

A very capable Re-mixer/Sampler, musically influenced by many popular genres, as well as alternative/experimental styles.

I'm currently working on my first solo CD release set for Summer 2008. I'll keep you posted.

Duane - Thank you so much for your support and feedback! I really means a lot to me - I'm glad you like my remix! If you have a moment, I'd love your vote, and for you to tell all of your friends as well! =) You've got some great tracks up man! Any song called "Leviathan" is worth a listening, and man, it's beautiful. It reminds me of "October" by Eric Whitacre - he's got so many open chords and suspension chords, it's like suspension after suspension that just keeps the song flowing. Leviathan is fabulous. Great job on Pan, Danceterios, and all of the other compositions as well! Thank you again for your kind support, my friend! Keep in touch! - Spikey

Austin White wrote on August 29, 2008:

thanks a lot man! you broke down my music and gave a really accurate review! thanks man! IT's that "richness" part you said that did it for me. Actually thats the word I think I've been looking for all a long. I've been saying "embrace" and words like that but yeah man "rich" definitely summed it up.

so can i count on you for a mariah vote??? : )

Thanks Duane! Yeah, I wasn't intentionally trying to be the most creative, this is just how I remix tracks. It's no fun for me to just add a little or take a bit away, y'know? Just not my bag. Thanks for your support and good luck to yas! Paz y Pesos, Gejius
