Greetings:

Studied audio engineering after graduating from college in 1975 and worked as Associate Engineer at several NYC studios, most notably Plaza Sound in Radio City. Recorded vocals and overdubs on the Pina Colada song among others, which ended up getting significant airplay. Also worked on albums by Robert Gordon, Ace Frehley, etc.

But, my primary interest has always been songwriting. Returned to this several years ago and now have a Cubase 5 DAW setup for home use.

I like melody-driven music in all its incarnations, ranging from jazz to hard rock. Not a fan of hip hop, metal, house, electronica or soundscape type stuff though.

I've always written songs that were way beyond my capabilities as a guitarist, keyboard player and singer. So, virtual instruments are a godsend, although they pale in comparison to the feel a real musician brings to the party.

So, I'm looking for musicians to collaborate with, ideally on an ongoing basis. Check out my playlist to to hear some examples of my work.

I'm available to work on fun projects where I can barter my skills for yours. I like to work with people who share my professional work ethic. I prefer songs with vocals and strong melodies. Other than that, easy peasy.
