Guitarist, composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist born in Brazil, EdO Portugal migrates to London, UK in 2003 where he’s been living since then. EdO has experienced in many different fronts such as bossa nova, trip-hop, acid jazz, funk, rock and electronic, as well as composing music for films - an art he started back in 2001.
EdO has worked with many musicians from all over the World and today is working in many different projects such as producing artists Bice Holden and Eleni Mylona - with whom he also has another band brewing -, songwriting with Jodie Kearley, as guitarist for Francesca Guarino and Andrew Balkwill, bassist in fusion-funk band Gilboa, besides vocals for Claudio Levitan and Paulo Geiger as well as keys in his own recordings.
Having studied sound engineering, music technology, sound design, and a lot of music theory in the past, the eager to learn artist carried on his studies in London, studying Music Industry at the City University London and finally, in 2007, he started the Music Production and Performance HND at LCCM (Loncon Centre of Contemporary Music) in London Bridge, where he’s started a strong and broad network of friends with amazingly talented musicians.
