- Favorite Lyric:
Thousands of people are dying for a chance to be alone
and there are millions more who'd kill if they thought they'd make a friend
Oh it's nonsense I know but I have to find out where they could be living
You never know
They could be living in sin
They could be carrying shame
Gotta find someone who's going to carry the blame
Find out what makes your heart sing
Because I found out already what makes my heart sing
If I find out nothing else I'm gonna find out what makes your heart sing...

Working With Others
- How I Work:
Interested in experimenting & collaborating with others who share a preference for traditional forms of music from other cultures.
I try to work using inspiration, intuition & improvisation as much as possible, so the real work usually comes when I set down to edit, tweak & improve upon what I've already got. I tend to view a composition as perpetually unfinished, leaving enough space for improvisation within it & a complete change of direction from it.
- Experience:
Aside from a love of music at an early age & a "magnetic memory" of music, I'm mostly self-taught. Did the typical stuff as a teen- bought a guitar, took lessons, formed a band in high school. Went on to be involved with a series of band incarnations with my best friend after high school, played some gigs around Southern California, L.A., etc.
Started teaching myself/ learning about Middle Eastern/Arabic/Semitic, Indian & Asian music through the past 17 years.
- Equipment:
Inspiron 9100 laptop, Steinberg Cubase SE, Cakewalk Metro, SoundForge 7.0, Audacity, GEM PK5 Oriental keyboard, different programs for experimenting with combinations of timbres, tonalities & intervals. Soon will be making use of online sites for collaborating.
- Payments:

I normally do not do this sort of thing but wanted to take on the challenge of something different. Or maybe it was too much wine..... LOL
