Music For Freedom // Blog

We are really excited about the latest developments regarding the "Music for Freedom" project.
Apart from the major help that we will be getting from Soundcloud, to spread the word about this project - read their upcoming newsletter - and in giving us a pro account to deal with all the files, we have made contact with Indaba that, is thinking about ways to help us make this project, one that will have a real impact in demonstrating the power of music over discrimination.
This is a project aimed to every one and where every one can make a difference:
1. If you are a non-musician just record the word "freedom" with your webcam, laptop microphone, mobile phone and drop it on our Soundcloud box, that you can find here on the right side.
2. If you are a musician grab the samples available at Soundcloud and at Indaba, inspire yourself and then upload them to Soundcloud (if you have a finished track to submit) or to Indaba if you want your peers to take your elements and work with them.
It is our belief that we all, together, can make a difference. It is our belief that, together, we can send a musical message to those that are suffering telling them our thoughts are with them.
Small Update: We have now included a video on YouTube. You can leave a video response there if you prefer.
