Working With Others

How I Work:

For now I'm maiinly interested in meeting people.

Experience:

I've been playing guitar for over 40 years. For the last 30 I've been pursuing the creation of my own ideas through recording. I'm an experienced Pro Tools user but I started off using tape. (Still my favorite!)

I spent several years on the road as touring guitarist for Gary "US" Bonds, playing in a variety of settings throughout Nroth America. I also performed for many years as a club musician, wedding and club date guitarist, and some session work. I've also composed music for several regional television ads

I have had many years experience with professional audio, having worked as a live sound engineer for about 15 years in settings from clubs to mid-sized theaters. I've also worked short stints as an engineer in several small studios over the years. I contine to work in my self-designed studio, mostly recording my own compositions, but occasionally recording others as welll,

As a manager at Sam Ash Music's Professional Audio Division for about 10 years during the '80s and 90's I was involved in many facets of sound system design from simple club PAs to large venue sound systems. My love for guitars and Guitarists has led me to become General Manager of the Sam Ash Guitar Shop on W. 48th St in NYC.

I enjoy collection guitars and have several nice instruments. Although several of them would be considered "collectables" I chose the instruments that I own primarily as "players" that I use in my day-to-day playing, recording and composing.

Although my abilities are mostly focused on guitar, I also activley play piano and keyboards, drums, mandolin and bass.

Equipment:

I have a 500 sq. ft. recording space in my home equipped with live drum set-up, multiple keyboards and modules, a nice collection of mics, tons of guitars, amps and guitya processors. I currently use a Macintosh G5 system with Pro Tools LE on a Digi 002r.

Payments:
This user does not accept PayPal for session payment

Very cool Franklin. I think it is great to see someone with a love for music (especially guitars). I would imagine over the years you have seen and heard many guitar players and many different styles. That experience alone is impressive!!!! Keep on rockin'............ Steve.
