I am a composer with three decades of experience in playing in live bands and composing music. I have studied classical and jazz composition from an early age, and have traveled the world gathering influences of music from China, India, and Europe. I even lived as a Zen Buddhist Monk in China for several years. I have also worked in the video game industry for 10 years, and now focus on creating of new music every day. In my studio, I have a Korg Oasys workstation and I compose using ProTools 8. I will often start a groove in Ableton or Reason and then migrate it to ProTools. aight, so the song i made is pretty dang simple: the original synth riff and piano parts have the same compositional structure, which is (In 8th notes)(consider 1 tonic and 7 sub-tonic, and every other # is relative to 1-7 in pitch height (a dash is equal to a rest)) 1-1 2-3/ 1-1 2-3/ 3-3 4-5/ 3-3 4-5/ 1-1 2-3/ 1-1 2-3/ 5-5 2-3/ 5-5 2-3/ 6-6 2-3/ 7-7 2-3/.
