I'm Wilf aka HAMMAHOUSE!
A dude originally from Amsterdam. I was there in the early 90's when House and Techno were emerging from the underground. Those styles captured me and I started to make my own beats when I was 13. Bought myself a sampler. The infamous Roland W 30 - a fave of Prodigy's Liam Howlett.
My first taste of success came in 2000 when I released Hammer House - The Jumper which hit the charts worldwide. I merged the melody of a famous Destiny's Child song with an infectious dance beat and off it went.
This was an early draft of which ultimately became the HAMMAHOUSE style. HAMMAHOUSE combines elements from hip Hop, house, techno and trance altogether into a signature style.
The most famous HAMMAHOUSE track til date is the remix I did for Mariah Carey and her song I'll Be Loving U Longtime. Also a remix for Grammy winning act The Roots became a winner in an official remix contest.
Next to the HAMMAHOUSE venture I was co-founder of Airmass Music. Airmass was a successful dance label from Holland. We released a string of 12"es which were faves among the world's DJ elite. Armin, Yves Deruyter, Marco V, E Craig, Judge Jules were all among our supporters.
Right now I record my music in the HAMMAHOUSE Recording studio located in South Seattle.
In 2008 I decided to go back to my roots and start a live act. I got tired of all the DJ's who were only using laptops to mix and live artists who did the same.
I bring real gear to the table instead of just some computer plug ins. It makes for a more raw and spontaneous sound. I use a collection of drum machines that I tweak on the spot. This is the exact sound that conquered the hearts of many at those legendary warehouse parties from the early 90's. If you're interested in booking me, feel free to contact me.

Hey, Wilf! I just posted a new remix for The Opie and Anthony Radio Show (on XM Radio). It's called "Pendulum" - check it out if you get a chance! (Definitely my best mix thus far, btw). Hope all is well bro! Thanks - Spikey

I see. I'm doing the K-OS stuff to stay in shape. I wanna be red-hot when I get my hands on the next track!
We don't have the track yet. How are you working on The Roots???
I love remixing too. I do a lot more at Acid Planet. Course, they have less big name acts there.
I hate indabamusic's way of 'judging' the remix contests. It's nothing but a popularity contest and reduces people to spamming for more 'votes'. It decreases the meaning of the actual music. that said. I voted for your track, cuz I like your style and you seem like a good guy. I won't be doing any more Indaba contests though.
I voted for yaaa ! very nive roots remix ! very nice style ! very original ! The roots in his electronical version ! nice work ! good luck man !
Mate, loved your mix u had my vote since weeks. I havent a new entry yet as I've been really busy with work, some nice productions in progress and composing for some artist... I'll try to make it into the K OS tho.. The Mariah stuff was a signed double vinyl, cool =) ..tnx for stopping, latersss and good luck, great mix!
