Indaba Music is a community-driven online platform for musicians, music professionals and fans. Indaba Music makes finding people, collaborating with them, and managing recording, mixing, and mastering projects easier.

Indaba Music was created on the principle that musicians, music professionals, and listeners should not be bounded by geography, that creativity can flow digitally, and that a community-driven application can create unique collaborative experiences which otherwise would not exist.

Using Indaba Music, an aspiring singer in L.A. can find a guitarist in Seattle to record a track for a new song, the same singer can pay to have her album mixed and mastered by a professional engineer in Tokyo; a rapper in Miami can find a New York producer to make a beat, and a DJ in Sweden can remix their collaboration just for fun.

This site rocks 100%. U guys should look into doing something worldwide like Hard Rock Cafe except call it Indaba Showcase Lounge where everyone can come showcase their talents live wherever in the world and maybe start Indaba satellite radio where theres no mainstream being played just strictly music made on Indaba, then hit 'em up on TV with "America wants Indaba" a reality show/talent competition ............ I could go on and on man, anyhoo, really enjoying the site, u cats are ultrafantasmically illmatic, keep gettin it in ..... yaheard?!

What happened with that technical error with letting out the winners of the Come Back Clean contest early? That got those original top three winners' hopes up, only to find out later that it was as though the judges changed their minds at the last second and threw someone in the first place slot, thus bumping them all down a peg. Talk about disappointment.

Hey Indaba, I was wondering why I haven't gotten the prize I won from PBS. Should I be talking to you guys or should I take it up with PBS?

Thanks and take care!

Oh my god, a place where I can post my music, get exposure and receive thoughtful, constructive criticism! Thank you.

... also it is so much better than the fucking newgrounds audio portal, sadly that is the only site indaba can be compared to short of myspace...

I totally agree with with the ascension!!!! His suggestion would be a GREAT idea!!!!

The Ascension™ wrote on June 11, 2009:

Can you make a sound bank and or Free Bandwich session- where indabians can upload Accapellas please? Its hard to find vox sometimes and I look around and hear a ton on this site. Thinking it's good way for singers to get used and heard in a bunch of different songs/genre and good way for the instrumentalists to add some focus to their songs!
