Working With Others

How I Work:

"Usually there are a few beers around" -John Fahey

Magic Carpet is an open-ended collaborative project I am working on. Mainly, I will be interested in collaborating with one or two people at a time or giving feedback on other peoples projects. Otherwise, I am a student, and thus, have a class schedule during the semester. I am not interested in money, conceptually rigorous, and sensitive to the aesthetic of the project; one of my primary interests is in eventually doing sound-design for film- Tarkovsky being one of my favorites in that domain. I will subtly work with the nature and mechanics of the piece, or completely detourn/throw it to the wind. sometimes both at once?

Experience:

21 years

Equipment:

8 channel mixer, tape/cd/record players, MacBook, various cymbals, various microphones, bodily functions, the internet, 70 gigs of sound, books, anything that makes sound, self-built instruments, Audacity
