Jonathan Atangana Aka Jo A was born in Cameroun on July 22, 1987 where he lived 18 years before coming to France to continue his studies.
Fan since his childhood of Michael Jackson, it admires the productions of Quincy Jones and peels CD, vidéos etc...
At the 10 years age, it touches with its first piano. It is the revelation, it realizes upon the departure that he can reproduce instantaneously the notes, the melodies which its ear collects on TV and with the radio. It falls in love with this instrument and learns in a self-educated way (only with the ear).
At the 15 years age, he discovers the MAO (Music Computer-assisted) by a friend of childhood already impassioned by this field. He launches out, do-it-yourselfing and control as an autodidact (still) the software. (Initially Ejay then Orion Pro, then Fruity loops then Reason). Meanwhile, it integrated a group of sound in its college, composed of Mr. Ice (which it knows since the primary French school) of which it becomes the beatmaker with the brother of Mr. Ice (St James) what enables him to make his weapons in the production.
At the 16 years age, St James dies of an cardiac arrest whereas he plays tennis shoe. The tragic event creates a strong bond between the members of the group.
Jo A has uses the music as therapy then. It is involved day and night and becomes much more technical and sharpens its talent. The other members of the groups forsake little by little the sound while Mr. Ice and Jo A have continue.
At 17 years, it obtains its vat with the French college of Yaounde CAMEROUN, it settles in Paris always impassioned and doped of sound. It opens a myspace www.myspace.com/joatouch then where it posts its productions. It has upon the departure of the proposals, the comments, the messages of supports, which pushes it not to give up its passion. It creates then with his friend Mr. Ice (www.myspace.com/icecrime06) the group” The E.Ts”.
Quite simply because they have an originality, a universe, concepts or then a vestimentary style Except Norme (come from space).
Mr. Ice Rap while JO A made the BeatS, mixes the sounds and sings on certain titles. Today, the space is more and more known, records more and more messages, listenings and comments. The group” The E.ts” (Mr. Ice + Jo A) prepares its album, its clip (COMING SOON).
Jo A has, 21 years old, has projects in progress with known artists & less known. (Will not say Us more). It hopes well to explode this year. Whether it is with its group or by its productions.
