Working With Others

How I Work:

I'm all about working on your terms because I realize that every project is different. If you need to meet face to face, we can set up a meeting, if you're more comfortable sending me files to work on I can accommodate that too. Depending on the project we can arrange an hourly rate or we can do a flat or per song rate. I value having professional customer interactions, so really the best way to tell me what you need and I'll make sure it happens!

Experience:

I've been recording, mixing and mastering professionally for about 4 years. I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta for Audio Engineering. and I'm experienced with all the major DAW's and outboard processors/plug-ins. For the past two years I've been running my own studio (Music Authority Studios) and doing extensive freelance work.

Equipment:

Pro-Tools (HD or LE), Cubase, Logic, Reason 4, Ableton Live, even Garage Band if you're recording with that.
I've got access to the Waves Mercury Bundle (that's a TON of plug-ins :) along with the SSL, API, and V-Series Waves plugs.
For outboard gear I use a Lexicon PCM-91 reverb.
Vintech and Manley EQ's.
UA, Summit Audio, and Great River Pre-Amps.
Drawmer, Empirical Labs, Manley, and Crane Song Compressors.
I have Mic's from Neuman, Audio Technica, Rhode, Shure, Blue, and Geffel.
I also have access to an SSL 4000G+ 32 Channel console which sounds like heaven on earth.

i also seen you on the "featured artists" list... really like these tunes.... i could see them being on the radio... and agree with Sara about making a myspace page or even .reverbnation!

Sara Carlton wrote on June 27, 2009:

You are by far my favorite artist right now.
These songs are amazing.
You should really make a myspace so your music will be spread.
You're too good to not be known. :)

Hey Johnny, like Dell, I saw you on the "featured artists" list and I decided to check out "Run Away." It's good! You've got some cool songs on here, man. Keep it up, friend.

SSL is good times.

Hope to talk to you soon.

Wow, just listened to Somedays. Reminds me of a cross between Gomez and Ray Lamontagne, awesome.

Saw your profile on "featured artists", and then listened to Run Away and it really blessed me. I have a song called Dance for Joy, I would love it if you took a listen and let me know what you think. Keep rocking for Him.
