An accomplished smooth jazz saxophonist, writer, producer, arranger and master of the blues harmonica. I write and collaborates with local and touring artists and records in my own ProTools studio. My current song "Dancing in the Breeze" is on rotation on SmoothJazz.com Radio. My smooth saxophone sound is highly influenced by my blues roots. I travel the Caribbean and perform with island musicians who greatly inspire my music. I am currently writing and performing with Motown artists, touring blues artists and local talent as the “John Reece Project” (band).

The band features local and touring artists Steve Jaracz (guitar), Patty Evans (percussion), Chuck Flores (drums), Mark Cooper (keyboards and Bass), and Mark Mathis (bass). Special guests include Motown legends The Original Vandellas (“Heat Wave”, “Dancing in the Streets”), Pat Lewis (background singer/arranger for Isaac Hayes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aretha Franklin and countless others) and vocalist Duane Walker.
