Working With Others

How I Work:

I enjoy free improvisation. I also like to write loose song structures. Here are some that I am welcoming people to audition for:
Drums, bass, keyboard, electric guitar, trumpet, I will accept substitutions

!1. Slow melody/moving block chords with all tonal inst. ~25 seconds drums mostly sparse 2. lowish pedal tone on bass or piano, quick drum cymbal etc., pulse, solos 3.acsendingish quarterish notes whole band togethor 5. similar to beginning, maybe a little brighter

#1. Halting, stuttering, single notes simultaneously, whole band 2. sparse, one instrument plucked, muted, staccato, like glass 3. solos 4. heavy lowish al band chord, dark 5. beginning

Experience:

I've played guitar for 15 years in a variety of styles including Old Time, Big Band Jazz, Combo Jazz, Rock, and Improv. I've also organized concerts and am currently organizing a regular public improvised music jam session called Permeable Layer.

Equipment:

Acoustic guitar and electric guitar played through my stereo or anyone else's stereo or amp or PA. Finale Notepad. Audacity. Accordian, mbira, rainstick, glass, flutes, ocarina, didgeridoo, tambourine.

Hiyo! When you have a minute, I would love it if you'd listen to 'Dandy Lion,' my Mariah Carey remix. If you're feelin' my jammms, then feel free to vote for it here: http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2192. Thanks for your time! Paz y Pesos, Gejius
