Composer and guitarist. He began his musical studies at the Oscar Espia Conservatory of Music in Alicante, Spain, where he combined experimental studies in the plastic arts of painting through to digital design and video creation.
The 1980's aroused Juan Pablo Zaragoza's interest in new music styles, introducing him to electronic music through the application of midi guitar and synthesizers, and he performed concerts and performances with the groups Zaping, Maktub, Shafar Gnawi, En Route, ECO Where he fused styles such as jazz, flamenco, bossa, gnawa music, and so on.
Continuing his studies in the field of computer music and its application, a platform that he ever since uses as a tool, along with the guitar, for his development of his musical compositions, Zaragoza's productions range from musical audio-visual applications, up to innovative investigations into new sound materials within contemporary electronic music.
With extensive experience as a consultant, in 1991 Zaragoza opened a Studio devoted to the composition, production and post-production of music, completing among other personal projects, the CD "Water Architecture," edited by the John Gil-Albert Institute of Culture and received commissions from entities such as the Council of Alicante, TVE, CAM, University of Alicante, MARQ
Among activities carried out in 2008, he participated in the AMEE Concert held within the framework of the Festival Zeppelin at the Center for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona, and at the XII International Festival 'Primavera en la Habana' of Electronica in Cuba, and presented his work Transmosfera (video and electronics) at the LIEM-CDMC (Laboratory of Electronics and Computer Music Center Dissemination of Contemporary Music at the Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid)
He is currently a member of MUSIMAGEN (Association of Audiovisual Music Composers), SGAE (General Society of Authors and Publishers), and the AMEE (Association of Electronic Music of Spain) More information on
