About Me

Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
Craft:
musician, music equipment repair technician, producer
Instruments:
Drums (All), Guitar (All), Keyboard (All), percussion
Genres:
fusion, funk (all)
Influences:
Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd

Happily married for 20 years now, I have a teenager in high school, that has no interest in doing any more than listening to music.
A bit of a hippie, intellectual, musician, jock, in my youth, my exposure to different people kept my eyes open to many genres as I was growing up.
Cut my performing teeth playing mostly Funk in the seventies, and have since been involved in varios bands, as well as many music projects.
I spend way to much time in the garage (a.k.a. studio) banging on the drums, keyboards, guitar and bass. I am pretty much a funk, and fusion artist, but have been known to dabble in just about any genre.
I recently begun to colaberate with another local artist, SireOne, doing Hip Hop, House, and fusion tracks.
I am also interested in doing movie sound tracks, as well as video shoots for some of my exsisting tracks.
Away from music I like soccer, football, electronics, and comedy.

Working With Others

How I Work:

I work from my small studio at home, and specialize in drum, and percussion work. I charge a session rate, as well as residuals, and royalties. Prefer playing drums, and percussion instruments, but I am not adverse to playing the bass, guitar, and or keyboards, if you are really desperate. Available most everyday (and night) of the week.

Experience:

42 years behind the drums, and about 30 in recording. Lots of live gigging, and loads of session work.
Being a drummer, I have learned a lot about microphone technology and use. I like to work with vocals. (No vocoder please!)

Equipment:

Drum kit, congas, bongos, darbuka, bass, keyyboards, guitars, digital recorder/mixer, a bevy of every style of microphones, mic and line mixers.
Digital, and analogue effects, EQs and compressors.
ProTools, fostex VF16, Mackie V32, and a bunch of computers.

Payments:
