Since beginning my teaching career in 2007, I have learned many things about education and music. I have been given the opportunity to play in a wedding band, as well have jam sessions with friends from time to time.
I am a band director. That is my passion, and that is where most of my time is spent. However, I also enjoy playing, writing, and arranging music on the side. I am looking for more opportunities to do this when time allows.
I would love to write horn parts to songs and/or gig around the Houston/Austin/Dallas areas.
My voice has been called a number of things, but I think I can hit my notes with a decent tone, depending on the song and circumstance.
I am also interested in writing my own music.
- How I Work:
I am mostly free during the weekends during the school year. During the summers (early June - mid August) I am able to work any time/place.
Any gigs should be $50/hour, unless another agreement is made.
- Experience:
My main instrument is tuba, but I have been playing trombone since 1998 and trumpet since 2004. I am looking to improve my skills on those as well as the piano and guitar.
