Deryck Roche was born in Westminster England, and started playing drums at the early age of 10, Studied at the Royal Ontario Conservatory of Music in Geulph Ontario Canada, through out the early years Deryck played with a band called Zodiac, and won several CML Festivals garnering trophys and festival ribbons. When Deryck reached Western Ontario he played in The White Oaks High Scool Jazz Band, this is where he realized his true calling to be in the music industry. Deryck left White Oaks and moved on to Humber College to study music composition, arranging and performance, while attending Humber Deryck played in several Jazz & R&B groups. After leaving college Deryck moved to Toronto to pursue playing live, studio sessions and get into music production. Welcome. I'm working on a remix for this contest. I actually have 3 different ones I have to choose from. Not sure which one will end up posted, but I should have it up by the end of this week. LOL!....

Studio Work haha rub it in man! I need to learn how to get into the business aspect. Still a fresh fish with about a year under my belt, but hopefully I get that grant throough the PBS music instinct!

Yeah big up Westminster. I lived in the Kensington area as a kid before returning to Zambia. Came back out here later for career reasons. Brutha from another mother would have to be my line because I am no dude (chuckle). Don't worry about it. Most guys on this site assume I am and it's the first time I've bothered putting it straight. hahaha.
