About the Songwriter:

Born into a family of musical affluence and song, Bradley Boyer is a self-made independent artist.
His grandmother was a stellar classical pianist, having taught, composed, and performed in the church for 50 years. His Uncle was an Opera singer. With his first instrument at age 7, he began writing songs at age 13, singing, recording, and performing live with his own band at age 19.

Currently working as an experienced indie artist, Billboard credited songwriter, singer, composer and band director, he collaborates with a collective of talented musicians & filmmakers which create a live wall of sound with a string ensemble and ambient vintage films flickering behind them on stage.

Over twelve years of pro recording, and live performance has opened up many opportunities for this artist to work with the best niche talent Nashville has to offer.

Creating original songs which are catchy, well crafted, and span the spectrum of indie rock, acoustic, chamber pop, orchestral, and electro. As a member of BMI as both songwriter and music publisher, Bradley is involved in collaboration in multiple projects at any given time, with songwriters, musicians, producers, and DJ's worldwide.

Creating music without boundaries, The Auto Defiance playfully blurs the lines between Alternative, Indie Rock, and Post Punk. Small events that would mean little to the untrained ear, through Boyer’s work are magnified to form a parallel to something greater in all of us.
Inspired by larger than life characters such as pop artist Andy Warhol, to musical deity’s such as Jeff Buckley and The Smiths; this is one artist who fully understands the power of iconography in music.
