I love to write songs. Strange sounds & unusual rhythms interest me. I love a good melody - my favorite music is rhythmic AND beautiful. I've been writing songs for 15 years, playing guitar for 20, & singing for 25. I love the recording/producing/mixing/editing process. I believe there is no greater creative outlet than making one's own music. I feel truly blessed to have a passion this fulfilling & rewarding.

Working With Others

How I Work:

I am generally free after about 7pm Mon-Fri, & on weekends. I would love to collaborate on some stuff with other people, or have others give me feedback.

Experience:

I've been a songwriter for about 15 years. I've been in several bands, including The Pets (Love & War) & The Waking Eyes (Combing the Clouds) which have both received some critical acclaim. I have several songs that have been placed in various Music Libraries, & several that have been used in film & television. Writing for TV/film/advertising is what I am mainly focused on these days.

Equipment:

Pro Tools 7.4 w/ Digi003 Console, iMac (2.66 GHz processor, 4GB ram) computer, Broadway Big Band virtual brass instrument, Yamaha HSM80 monitors, AKG monitoring headphones, Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, & Samson microphones, assorted electric guitars (Gretsch, Epiphone, Fender), Yamaha acoustics (steel-string & classical), vintage Traynor 25W tube guitar amp, Epiphone electric bass, Yorkville bass amp, vintage Yamaha (Farfisa-like) stage organ, Yamaha CP300 digital stage piano, Kimball acoustic upright piano, Roland Space Echo, accordion, shofar (ram's horn), as well as access to all the percussion instruments you could want (including drum kit, xylophones, tympani, congas, glockenspiel, etc.) through my school's music dept.
