I'm a third-generation drummer... But Pops didn't like the fact I played punk. I finally got jazz into my heart a few years back. Still like the hard stuff though. In my opinion, these are the two most rebellious art forms there are... even though there have been tons of sell-outs along the way. I like my music to feel good lyrically as well as musically. Minimalism doesn't really work in my brain. If the music can make people dance, fuck and fight all in the same night, then my work was executed flawlessly. Independence, community, revolution, piracy and love... just know your ax is all I ask. These are some tracs I played back in 1994 and relatively good examples of my playing in tne past. Don't watch the videos... they're cheesy.

How I Work:

I want to start a band of like-minded folks. Yes, you can do underground music, make money and not have to run to the nearest barf receptacle because you signed your life's work away.

Experience:

I grew up playing and listening to music. When I could reach the drums I started playing. Played in rock and jazz groups (in Texas) since I was 15. All my old recordings are gone and out of print, so I have to make something new. Working on it. But I'm not blowing sunshine up anyone's ass. Music treats you better than your significant other does. If we decide to collaborate, you can talk to me face to face.

Equipment:

Gretsch, GMS, tablas, congas, bongos, piano (rinky-dink Casio- but it does what I need it to do), a whole slew of cymbals (all different for different things- I'm an artist, not a gearhead).
