9 months to delivery!

Wednesday September 02, 2009 at 04:25 PM

A new baby is coming in 9 months! Peace Partners is a musical project dedicated to the ideals of world peace and freedom. We are looking to create as many Indaba sessions as possible, in various genres, around these themes.

All Peace Partner songs will be sold over the Internet. Additionally, we hope to produce a CD containing selected Peace Partner songs for distribution through more traditional music outlets.

All proceeds from the CD and online sales will be distributed among foundations and non-profit organizations dedicated to working toward a better world.

Amnesty International Canada francophone has already agreed to partner with us on this project. We hope additional, established organizations will come on-board, as the project progresses.

There are numerous ways you can contribute to Peace Partners:

Join the group at...

http://www.indabamusic.com/groups/80786. />
Join one of existing sessions listed under...

http://www.indabamusic.com/search/sessions?q=peace+partners

Create your own session and make it easy for others to find by naming it, Peace Partners (+ session title).

The submission deadline for Peace Partners songs is June 1, 2010.

9 months to delivery.

You can listen to completed songs that have already submitted to the Peace Partners project at:

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with people making music from all over the world, from all ages, all skills and all styles, with one goal: Promoting Peace through music.

Meet people, make music, participate in Peace.

ARTISTS FOR FREEDOM AND PEACE PARTNERS JOIN FORCES

Two musical organizations have joined together to tackle social issues across the globe.

Artists for Freedom, a global organization that spreads awareness on issues like Human Rights violations, has joined forces with Peace Partners, a musicians’ movement banding to donate profits of CD sales to global charities. Today, collectively they aim to present a Global Manifesto for Peace through music.

Peace Partners formed through Indaba Music, the leading destination for online music collaboration, and has gained strength by uniting musicians dedicated to social cause, from all over the world. While searching Indaba, Peace Partners Founder Patrick Lajeunesse Platinum Member discovered a recording session titled Music for Freedom started by Artists for Freedom Founder Fernando Fonseca. It is obvious that the motivating factors in both projects are the same: artists collaborating to make positive change. Peace Partners and Artists for Freedom are happy to announce their new partnership, and are excited to begin changing the world through music.
