Bio
I don't really "have" great talent but I am blessed to have enough sense to realize that 1.) I do "have" a little, 2.) that many people would give anything to have the little that I "have" and 3.) even if I were to "have" great talent, it wouldn't belong to me anyway. :-)
Favorite Lyric
Intro: Oh Dear Lord! You made many, many poor people. I realize, of course, it's no shame to be poor - But it's no great honor, either! ;-) So what would have been so terrible If I had A *small* fortune? Outro: God, who made the lion and the lamb, You decreed I should be what I am. [But] would it spoil some vast, eternal plan - If...I were a WEALTHY MAN! ;-)

How I Work With Others
Overview
I play for fun, mostly. I generally prefer to retain my copyrights, but I'm open to discuss terms if you have the need.
Experience
Self-taught by listening to the radio as a teenager back in the mid-seventies.
The joy of playing left me in the early 80's. A series of fortunate events led me to pick it back up again and learn several new things. I learned a whole new style of music (Contemporary Christian). I learned how much I rely my drummer. I learned how to play a 5-string. I learned how less is often more with many bass stylings (correctly placing a single note can be an art form, whereas running 10 million notes together in a single measure is a skill) (a lost skill, apparently! :-).
I just discovered Indaba Music on August 24, 2007 - in just a few days I have had more fun than I have had in the last several years! I get the feeling that somehow, I'm supposed to be here. :-)
