Hi Guys!

I've been out pounding the pavement in search of gainful employment both here and out Maryland way - I've been laid up for weeks with a persistent cold that STILL has not let go, I've been investigating DAW software because my mixes and so on are inconsistent and take WAY too long to produce and I replaced my laptop with a 64-bit beast that should make my editing and mastering tasks a cinch.

 

All that to say I've been away unavoidably and it probably seems like I dropped off the face of the planet but everything's coming back together now. Plus, I'll have some cool new "treats" to pass around.

 

So did I miss anything?   :-)

Hi, Y'All!

Sorry I've been away for so long - some unavoidable family business took me away and I'm only now getting a handle on it. My sincerest apologies to everyone who has been waiting for me to deliver something - I hope I can pick up where I left off and ZOOM through everything with pizazz and attention to detail.

I just picked up the bass again briefly last Thursday and so now I remember what it feels like to play. It feels *GOOD*!!!  No time like the present to dig right in.

I'll be around after finals this Saturday (this accelerated degree program also drains away time...) before the block party kicks off (with a live band, of course). So much to do, so little time - talk to you all individually REAL SOON!

Got my gear over to Mario's house - his eyesight is failing terribly now and he can't get around on his own anymore but he still comes alive with an opportunity to play again. We laid down a couple of tracks of Mario's muses and I introduced him to some of the sessions I've encountered here. He's been saying he's going to break in some new reeds and last night he got started - he says he will give them a listen during the week and be ready to add some of his flavorings by this weekend. I know you guys are gonna love his chops. :-) So where' the RSS feed for all this??????
