Hey could u please take a listen to my new remix Da Game Been Good To Me (New Zealand Remix) with UGK.

I think I did a good job on this, definetly worth a listen. It's a song made for a remix contest for Jamglue. It's basically a diss to fake MC's who are destroying the game, I mention a few underground MC's who fall in that category as well (Kidology, Infect and 3shot).

Tell me how u feel, harsh criticism will help me grow as an MC so feel free to point out flaws

When Bridges Burn
Lyrics written by Henry Duthler

You could tell me what you want from me
And I could tell you what I need from you
But I won’t
So please don’t
It would only break my heart in two

You could stay here for another night
And we could pretend for a while
But when morning comes
And the love is gone
Then what will we do
What will we do?

Chorus:
Don’t Say it’s over
I can feel it in your touch
It’d just drive us Further
Aren’t we already far enough?
Like ashes on the water
The night takes it’s turn
When you can’t control the fire
That’s when bridges burn

Verse 2
You could say our love died long ago
And I would be inclined to agree
But if it’s true
Then there’s nothing we can do
But set each other free

You said your love would last forever
I swore that mine would too
But it won’t
So please don’t
Pretend there’s any more we can do
There’s nothing we can do

Chorus 2:
Don’t Say it’s over
I can see it in your eyes
There’s a distance now between us
Its time we realize…
The ashes on the water
Are from the pages we have turned
And you can’t control the fire
When the bridge begins to burn.

Chorus 3:
Don’t say it’s over
I can feel it in my heart
There’s an emptiness between us
As we slowly fall apart
The ashes on the water
From the bridges we have burned
Have begun to drift away
I guess we’ll never learn…

I do have one song (Better off Blues) that I would love someone to redo the music for. It's on my other site www.unsigned.com/strategicallyplaced check it out and let me know if you are interested in rewriting the music for it

Henry D. wrote on February 14, 2009:

All kinds of stuff...lol (Years of putting the pen to the paper) check out my other site www.unsigned.com/strategicallyplaced and let me know what you think... I've done a lot of work with a lot of people... but ultimately I need a decent vocalist. I have a few of my songs where the music is done... just looking for the right vocalist to do them justice. (and no... not Tom Waits, but close eh?)
