Ma$tamind Productions, an award winning full range music production and management company, founded in 2005 by Natasha Andrews-Noel and Shawn Noel. The company's production catalogue consists of countless collaborations with today's leading Soca stars, and many more talented artist yet to be discovered. To date Mastamind Productions is responsible for the annual Soca compilations titled Da Ma$tamind Project, a Christmas Album titled "A Ma$tamind Christmas, The Missing files and hosts of hits on the Quickie, Estrogen, Nutmeg and Pot of Gold riddims. Though based in Brooklyn, New York, Ma$tamind caters to the Soca fraternity the world over having released songs and albums throughout the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. Shawn Noel, co-founder, has won several industry honors including New Songwriter of the Year (2005), Ragga Soca of the Year (2005), Groovy Soca of the Year (2006) from the Copyright Organization of Trinidad and Tobago. From the International Soca Awards Organization he has received 6 nominations in various categories and has been recognized for his music composition and production on the track "Don't Stop" as this song won himself and Shurwayne Winchester, Chuntney Soca of the Year, and Song of the year, he also won Best Soca Compilation Album for the Pot of Gold riddim. Ma$tamind has also been behind the tunes that garnered Bunji Garlin the coveted International Soca Monarch title in 2004 and 2005. In 2006, Ma$tamind composed and produced the music for Shurwayne Winchester's Don't Stop, where he made history by becoming the first artist to win both Groovy and International Soca Monarch competitions. Don't Stop was also featured on the Da Ma$tamind Project. With so much accomplished in its short run, MM is set to take the Soca world by storm yet again, with the releases of the Da Ma$tamind Project 2, for the carnival 2007 , which featured Bomani, Adrian Dutchin, Shurwayne Winchester, 3rd Bass, Patch, Crazy and a host of others. Mastamind Productions is now busy at work after completing a host of tunes for the Grenada carnival celebration, there focus is now Trinidad and Tobago 2K8, as they are scheduled to release Da Ma$tamind Project 3 this Christmas, along with the second installment of A Mastamind christmas.
