Miss Mercury’s music has been played on major US network shows such as White Collar, Gossip Girl, Outlaw, Running Wilde, Community and Happy Endings.She has most recently sold a song which will be featured on the DVD release of the new Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz movie called Bad Teacher due out summer of 2011. Her single “No Chemistry” continues to receive airplay on Hot AC stations across Canada and she has received finalist nominations for several prestigious competitions in the past year, such as best new artist for the American Urban Music Awards, as well as for best pop artist at the Toronto Independent Music Awards.

She currently collaborates with Platinum and Gold producer/writers Dane Deviller and John Nathaniel, as well as other monster talents such as Michael Behm of Premier Music, Davey Badiuk and Sam Ryan at SOS MUSIC, and is currently co writing on material for with artists such as vancouver's pop punk darling, Kieran Strange.

How I Work With Others

Overview

Usually once I begin collaborating with an artist, a general 50/50 split is discussed and I prefer a contract be signed. I love to write lyrics and create great hooks and payoff choruses. I am looking for someone who is a genious with production to collaborate on creating hit songs for radio and licensing.

We haven't worked together on Indaba.

As a solo artist writing her own tunes, I always wanted to branch out and co-write with other musicians. I've co-written with a lot of songwriters recently, but Miss Mercury is, without a doubt, my favourite person to work with. Her diversity and creativity know no bounds; each song we pump out is more passionate and more alive than the last, and I always arrive at each session stoked to create another awesome track.

When it comes to working with an artist, Miss Mercury finds it very easy to slip herself into your own niche or genre and help you write music that suits YOU as an artist, and gets across what you want to say. Despite her intense passion for songwriting, she's extremely easy to work with and I've had a blast at every session we've had together.

If you're serious about writing hooky tunes, catchy lyrics and hit songs, from one artist to another, I highly recommend you work with this amazingly talented woman. I love the music we've created together and can't wait to write more in the super near future.
