Songwriter, music producer and accomplished guitarist, George Solo has been passionate about music from his earliest days. Born at the cultural crossroads between the East amd the West, in Belgrade, Serbia, George since 1995 lives in Toronto, Canada.

George toured extensively worldwide, with more than 1000 performances across three continents (Americas, Europe and Asia) and it shows. Sound-wise, everything about George changes frequently, and when it does, it brings unexpected, refreshing results. With his captivating guitar technique, coupled with crafty songwriting and innovative sound production, George brings back the guitar and melody straight to the center of a modern, contemporary song.
George is currently producing and writing for Marcos Mendosa, a talented Latin urban artist. How did that come about? Unlikely collaborators, they discovered they shared passion for combining original Latin melodies and urban hip-hop beats. Marcos Mendosa’s lyrics and vocal performance, combined with George Solo’s songwriting, guitar playing and production skills provided foundation for Mendosa’s signature sound and title of his first album, “Tangoton”. The album is due for release in 2009.

George is a member of Songwriters Association of Canada, Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN)
In words of the Billboard World Song Contest judges (Honorable Mention, 2008 for "Return To Wonderland" ) George "demonstrates the talent and dedication it takes to write a hit song".
