Music Spectator is a lightning rod for all music local and live. With our concentration being so specific to this indigenous product, we are bringing the public and it's beloved artists closer than ever. We publish the monthly magazine, have an outstanding online presence and are constantly out in the community promoting music like no one else. To further this effort, we also created the Portland Music Awards, a Grammy-style awards show that brings much needed attention and praise to a previously unrecognized music scene.

Personally, I am a 20-year musician, most notably in starting my career as an underling back-up singer for the superstar Sting. Today, I still sing and tour, but have my own underlings. I am also a long-time journalist, with a heavy background in investigative journalism, former syndicated celebrity interviewer, and now two years with my own magazine. I am also ever so slowly working on finishing my eventual first novel.
