Newtonbach:

With over 30 years experience in music, from live performance and session work with his bass, songwriting, composing and producing talented artists, Newtonbach still strives to perfect his art. One of his best gifts is to see clearly the essence of the nature of the work, and direct the correct flow of creative energy to completion. Where there is a need for perfection, taste, professionalism and sometimes just patient understanding, Newtonbach is the one necessary arrow in your creative quiver. Now specializing in creative compositions, songwriting, production and session bass, newtonbach is the answer to your needs.

Born in Manhattan, the life and beats of the largest metropolis still courses through his veins. Throughout his music there is a combined thread of hope, sadness, joy and just a bit of sarcasm. As a newborn he was placed in the care of others, and finally adopted. His first music exploration came from the upright piano in the basement, the same place where his adoptive father took his own life when he was 2 years old. Here the first musical thoughts, and his connection to the ethereal world took shape. At the age of 10, soon after his adoptive mother died, he took his formative music ideas and gave them the structure and foundation they required. Taking up the electric bass at age 14 opened an entirely new world in music, joined with his acoustic guitar he set out on his own at age 16 for greater musical pastures. Later he would work as the all around kid at MAE music in Ft. Lauderdale.

Soon after newonbach set his sights on music studies in college. As a freelance bassist he performed in several jazz, rock and country bands to support himself. He had to leave his studies behind in order to survive, and performed on the road with traveling bands. His true heart and spirit was to be writing and producing new music, and the life of the touring musician became an endless downward spiral, where it was a matter of survival and not musical creation.

In the years following newtonbach got married, had children and placed that part of his essence on hold, in order to support his family. Part of that experience was owning and operating an online music store, where he experienced firsthand the intricacies of wholesale music distribution and supply channels.

For the past several years newtonbach has built up his music studio, with a mac based pro-tools system, additional instruments and recording plug-ins. He sought out and found remarkable new musical talent to write and perform with, and is on his way to fulfilling those creative motivations that sets him apart as an artist.

...to quote newtonbach "This bio is completely true, but written in the third person with a bunch of hype attached, which is so completely uncharacteristic of how I really am, but people seem to buy it. What really matters is if you need electric bass, production, songs, or compositions, I have the ability to work well with people, and am able to create a working environment that is creative and fulfilling."
