Working With Others

How I Work:

i am down for collaboration, paid and free are fine.
i am willing to attempt to contribute on any project that someone may need me for, i could give a poop about bread generally....but if i play on your #1 hit, don't forget to cut me a taste of it.
;)
i also play slide and synth guitars, mandolin, fretted and fretless and upright bass, sing lead and backing vox, and enjoy helping other artists productions. here i work mainly doing sessions and pre and post production for local musicians.
while i am game for any genre, i prefer blues/rock/psychedelic styles and am a very in your face and aggressive guitarist....i don;t care much for the flash of the 80's and dazzling pyrotechniques.
if you need a melodic classic rock guitarist, i'm your guy..
my commitment level will be comensurate with either the pay scale or personal interest in any project.
i am not presently looking to join a band or travel, and am interested primarily in side projects with other internet musicians.

Experience:

playing music since age of 7 (1969), started on recorder and moved to cello...got my first guitar at 11, first electric at 13, and began performing professionally at 16 as a classically trained upright bassist, tho by that age i was pretty much a guitarist. i have worked as a sideman and emcee/host, as well as being a member or frontman in countless bands, in the past at times juggling 4 or more working bands.have played in orchestras, rock/blues/country/fusion/psych bands, and will play anything tho i tend to not like disco and most rap.
i have done instrument repairs as a brass/woodwind/guitar/amp tech as well, and tho presently retired from live performance still do occaisional local shows.

Equipment:
supro/marshall/fender/emi/behringer guitar amps, marshall based rack system, more effect devices than you can shake a stick at (pedals, racks, standalones) roland gr-1,09,and 30 guitar synths, thousands of soft synths,an xp based recording system, strats, les paul and sg and firebird guitars, fretted and fretless bass.
