The orchid all started when I figured out how to use GarageBand 2 years ago and now has grown to a passion for composition and musical originality. I have now upgraded to Logic Pro and will continue to explore different sounds and tonalities. I am a student at the Smeal college of business at PSU. The name "The Orchid" was picked quite recently due to the fact that my name just isn't catchy.. at all.
My hopes are to, one day, compose tunes for movies but in the meanwhile writing what I can, when I can, and getting to share it with everyone is all I want.

- Experience:
Took music lessons as a young child then started piano when I was 10. I later switched to guitar lessons for a few years when I was 15 and self taught the rest.
Been in a band in HS and played a couple giggs.
Been composing for 2-3 years now.
Collaborated with fellow composers by adding some of my sound or vision on a song.
Had MCs rap over my songs on Youtube.
