About Me

Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
Craft:
musician, songwriter, composer, arranger
Instruments:
Guitar (All), Bass, harmonica, piano
Genres:
rock, folk rock, blues, country, alternative country, alternative rock, alternative pop
Influences:
Beatles, Paul Simon,, robert johnson, joni mitchell, chuck berry, otis redding, bruce springsteen

I'm a songwriter first, have spent the last year or so filling in gaps present in my musical abilities by studying theory and practicing vigorously. Guitar is my first instrument, but have been spending a lot of time at the keyboard lately. I write rock music of a sort, and I'm long overdo for making an album showcasing those songs. I also write country music, because that's the only genre where a stand-alone songwriter can make a living these days and I want to keep my options open. Music is an obsession of mine. I go to the UW also. This seems like a cool network. I'll write a less jumbled version of this at a more sensible hour.
