I'm a product of the 1st hip hop generation, born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, NY. I lived 3 blocks away from "The Human Beat Box" (of the FatBoys). Another 2 miles away was Farmers Blvd, where L.L. Cool J lived. I also remember seeing Run DMC shoot hoops, while riding the bus home from school. I'm still trying to find my musical roots, but most of it came from being a born into the culture of Hip Hop.

I did the typical things musicians do, join bands, gig, create music, record music blah, blah, blah. Now I'm just a producer who spends most of his time on the internet producing and networking with musicians.

Working With Others

How I Work:

If you are one that studies liner notes, such as I, I think you might want to take a look at my blogs. As we approach the release date for the album, I will be putting together a series of blogs on some of the artists that are featured on the Paper Cha$erz Collaboration, as well as some of what goes on behind the scenes. Each blog or chapter will discuss some rather interesting bits and pieces of info such as how I met certain key people, that were crucial in the production of this compilation and how the CD evolved into what it is now.

Experience:

...lots

Marvin M. wrote on July 14, 2009:

Thanks. I've been working on my setup for threeyears. Now it's time for me to get back to work. The Sonic Cell is a sound module that accepts SRX epansions. It's basically a Fantom without the keys and sequencer and all the that. Just sounds and effects.
