SEA is a newly forming band from Seattle. Currently we only have bass and rhythm guitar, but we also do the drum machine programming, the lead guitar parts, and the vocals ourselves until we find local or online musicians to fill those roles. If you would like to suggest one of our songs to be put up for a session, please let us know. Thanks!

Working With Others

How I Work:

SEA is strictly here to collaborate and play for you for FREE! Of course, if anyone wants to pay us, that is our goal when we become worthy enough. We are Bass and Rhythm Guitar, who are able to play other parts too. And since we are just a studio, or forming band right now, we would be considered session musicians. If you give our tracks a listen, you will hear that, unlike everyone else who sounds like so and so, SEA sounds like SEA. We will give you a more original and organic sound; less broadcast or production music sounding, and more like a real live band. We are full time musicians. We play every day, and are interested in meeting and playing with people any time you write us at seatheband@gmail.com :)-~ We will be doing something musical, it's what modern bards do. All modern bards unite! Dona Nobis Pacem... ~ SEA

Experience:

WE ARE NOT TRAINED MUSICIANS; we play and learn everything you hear by ear. Our only music theory is if it sounds good together, that is the correct way to play it. Though we are aware what notes we are playing and can read music, we do not sight sign music. We have developed a simple song writing, recording and playing method in our own simplified style. We have all the forms, timing changes and chords mapped out with a drum machine to define the beat. We were collaborating with others before we heard of and joined this site, so we have developed a system to sync up tracks and collaborate with anyone virtually online. :)

Equipment:

We keep it real, so to speak. We have the most basic equipment you can imagine, but we plan on being able to recreate the whole thing live at any time with the most minimal of equipment.

"Get what you deserve" is smokin'. Little feat would be proud. I live in Edmonds, maybe we can connect.
