About Me

Straight from the streets of skid Row, America's homeless capital, comes a group known as the Slum Peasants. Mercy Diamonds, Detox, and Barabbas, seek to make an impact on the next generation. Already working with the homeless for the past 2 1/2 years; the Peasants believe it is time to go up the river to see who's tossing the peasants in the water to wash away down stream. Once there, the issue's needs to be addressed. The Peasants hope for a day when no one will have to sleep hungry, or even die from Violence or Hunger. With this in mind the Slum Peasants brings you hip hop soul; hip hop in it's rawest form; something for the Soul! Yes, indeed watch out for the Peasants. In their own words "Me heart bleed passion"

It's basically a series of mixtapes...this is vol one comin up, so if you have anything that you want to throw out there let us know. Right now we're in the plannin stages so I'll have to get back to you on particulars...it's exclusive to Indaba folks only.

Whats up SP...this is SP (St Paul). You got that high powered production. I like the rap and singing thing together. Welcome to hip hop's finest. I peeped your website, love your mission. If you ever get around to Philly look me up. I'm doing hip-hop workshops with the youth. Keep on doing your thing and let's build. Just a little FYI: some of us indaba folks are putting together a mixtape, so if you want to hop on it let us know. I'd love to collab, if your're down with it. I'm sure it would benefit us both.
Peace
