A great, dynamic, powerful mix is the single most crucial most important finishing step in the music production business. It simply makes or breaks your baby right there. I consistently bring out the absolute best in recorded multitracks whether it’s home recorded on the simplest of set-ups or tracked in the best studios. The common reality that runs through all of my music-friends no matter if they’re hugely successful artists or bedroom laptop warriors, are the sweat and tears that go into every song. Songworx understands the critical responsibility to the song’s sonic impact and competitive advantage. This place is for serious professionals or any artist that needs to sound like one. Visit songworx.com and please don’t hesitate to drop me an email. Chat with you soon.
CJ has recently finished mixing an album for Sass Jordan (released september 15 2009) among several indy artist projects as well. Metal superstars “Disturbed” enjoyed their live broadcast mix so much they’ve released an EP of the May 29 2008 event “as is” for their latest release “Live and Indestructible”. In August 08′ he wrapped up a year and a half long tenure as Audio Director and Mix Engineer for DeepRockDrive and mixed all of the artists and bands for DeepRock’s live music interactive broadcasts from it’s 15,000 sqft production facility in Las Vegas. He designed and engineered DeepRockDrive’s production sound-stage and HD studio mix broadcast systems. His mixing and internet audio methodologies were highly acclaimed as the best live broadcast sound available on the web. CJ has a colorful 20 years of major record production experience including a few major record deals and tours as an accomplished bass slinger. Most notable was his bass work with Judas Priest’s Glenn Tipton for his first solo record and bass sessions with Michael jackson as MJ’s recording engineer. CJ has mixed over 4,000 live music events into the mid 90’s and has crafted records for the last 14 years with many of the great music producers and artists.

Hey CJ - Thanx for your comment on my profile. It was tough putting together that photo - as you can probably tell, the water was cold!!! I am looking forward to hearing some of your music on Indaba. Thanx for joining and I hope you're digging the site!
Ha, I appreciate the insider info ;) I'll get in touch with him again, I'd love to come down and check out the place and meet the people etc.
Oh that's great! Gil over there had called me a few weeks back about working in there, never got back to me though.
Thanks for the kind words. I love the short articles on your site. Where is it you work out here?
Thanks, CJ. You bio's a darn impressive resume, as well. Welcome to Indaba. I hope to run into you, again, soon.
It's funny... I was writing on a blog on a electronic music site where people were asking what albums they listen to for good mixes and I stated Quincy on everything from MJ to Sinatra. Amazing what was accomplished by Bruce Swedien (hope I've spelt it right) that plays back with more warmth than anything recorded today. Anyway before I get carried away I wanted to say welcome and you can count me in on looking to you for advice/services. Good to have you here!

I'd love to come by Threshold and check out the place sometime, you guys don't happen to be in need of any interns or asst's are you?
