I am a rhythm and lead guitarist employed full time as a flash designer / animator / programmer. I have worked in various small studios and currently operate storm studios which is a new media development boutique-type agency producing new media for marketing.
I currently live in Redondo Beach, California and am searching for a band opportunity in west LA County or The O.C.. I am willing to collaborate locally but am just as comfortable laying down guitar tracks for others regardless of their location.
storm studios produces audio and film and new media projects and works directly with reckseidlerfilms on various film projects.
Musically, I play a 12 string Hoyer guitar which I picked up in a basement shop in Hamburg when I lived in Germany and a Gretsch Hollowbody through a Fender Twin Reverb 65 Reissue. I also have various other guitars when other sounds are needed. I have a fake Rickenbacker and a meaty grunge guitar I call Bashaw Red.
Influences are John Squire (The Stone Roses), Ian Brown, The Edge (U2), Graham Coxon (Blur), Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead).
Musically, I grew up on Rock and Country. I was raised on Elvis, Buddy Holly, the Beatles, George Jones, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. (there was even a lot of Tennessee Ernie Ford but shhhhhhhhh...that was my mom's fault). I am most comfortable with Brit Pop such as Oasis, U2, Stone Roses, Blur, etc (anything from the Madchester Days....Happy Mondays) but love good country songs such as Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Dwight Yoakam, etc. (I love Dwight Yoakam).

- How I Work:
I use Cakewalk SONAR and Propellerhead's Reason as my software. I like to work with any type of music and am versatile enough to work with anyone with any different choice of software. I've been working digitally for years and am able to match file types and sample rates. My audio is captured through an EchoAudio AudioFire 4 sound card.
I play a Gretsch Hollowbody though a ZOOM G2.1u multi-effects pedal and a Fender Twin Reverb 65 Reissue amp. I also have an MXL 990 mic and a AKG Perception 120 for vocals and a Shure SM57 and Sennheiser e609 and mic'ing instruments such as my 12 string Hoyer guitar.
- Experience:
Studied Music Technology in college using 8 track recorders and an Atari 1040 st computer for MIDI. I then worked in a studio before finishing a split diploma in Radio Production and Mew Media. I decided I wouldn't make enough mney as a producer in radio and now produce new media full-time.
