Family

Today Indaba had family feeling. I don't if it because Jammy signed on and a few people gave here a welcome message. She even noticed she felt like she already new Ricarrdo who works a good bit with me. She is also alread familiar with Carlos and Andrew too. When I asked Hugh Saung about Jammy auditioning a part on one of his sessions he was encouraging about it. There are alot of open musicians who are here just to make good music. I guess that the common bond a lot of us have; is making music from screaming death/black metal to beautiful melodic Christian hymns to tear in your beer country songs. We all have something to say and use the same language with different dilects. Okay I'm meandering the Ambien is kicking. Oh Well That was my first blog. Thanks to everone here that makes this place what it is. Family. dodi li vi ani lo Storm

Hi Storm! Welcome to the family. Consider yourself at home! I kind of liken all of us to the orphans in Charles Dickens' story ,Oliver Twist, and Mantis Evar is our Fagin! Ha ha ! I like your all embracing mindset on music. Dance on the Water has to be my favorite of you offerings. I am honored that you contacted me. I am fascinated by the universal language of music, the perfect language if you will, and with just a few notes to work with, there are always new songs to be written! Whatever is inside of me that I can't get out in words, music is the complete expression of my being. (what does dodi li vi ani lo mean? it has a nice rhythm to it!) :o)

Could not have put it better myself. Same language of music, just different dialects.
