Sunny was born as Tiffany Morris in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also known as Tip or Tiff from the Thomasville Community of Southeast Zone 3 in Atlanta. Her stage name, Sunny stems from an early childhood nickname "Sunshine", given by a grammar school teacher who stated “The name fits the personality”. She later changed it to Sunny as Sunshine was that of (R&B recording artist) Sunshine Anderson. She has famed herself as one of Atlanta’s hottest underground MC’s, songwriters and female producers. Sunny gradually continues to establish herself as one of the undergrounds greatest and most versatile female artist. She has won over 73 open mic competitions throughout the east coast and southeast regions and blatantly points out the fact she is not restricted by one musical genre. St.James which is used as her performance given name was adopted years later and identified Sunny’s affiliation with The House of St. James Entertainment Association. Essentially known for astonishing performances covering all areas of entertainment ranging from circus acts to pageants and everything in between. Sunny is also actively involved with helping the community. In 1999 she established an organization which provided Atlanta’s inner city youth with positive social alternatives such as basketball tournaments, community clean ups, after school tutorial, block parties, free concerts, music lessons, & food drives. All in an effort to subjugate the expeditiously increasing crime rate amid teenagers & young adults. She stated that her goals are “To do what I’m already doing, just on a larger scale. Keep the clubs jumping, people smiling, and save a few lives in the process.”

Good to hear from you. Just wanted to check up on you to see if you were okay. I know you were disappointed about The Roots thing. You seem to be in good spirits so I'm glad about that. You should still post your mix. I'd love to hear it. Have a great week Sunny.
