This has by far been the most interesting presidential election. I am excited not only because Obama is an educated black man, but because i believe that he stands for the change that America needs. I have personally along with many others suffered, as a result of the poor leadership which resulted in a failed economy. I know this indaba but alot of us on this site are American citizens. This is an issue that we should openly and freely express. I have nothing against Mccain except for he seat in a seaat of authority for the last 26years and we alll see where we are as a result of our past. I do commend him for serving our country and all of his other years of service. We are in trouble as a nation and to get different results you have to try a different strategy. I'm not saying that Mccain doesn't realize that but I'm a bit confused as to how he plans on saving America with a 5000.00 tax credit to purchase health care. Where can you purchase healthcare for 5000.00 for an entire family?? What kind of policy could you afford? What about prescriptions and hospitalization?? There are some plans that will pay for everything after you cover the 1st 5000.00 but what about the entire family?? NO matter who wins I am sure that it would take an entire term to fix the mess that was left by George W. Bush. So I'm not expecting a miracle but I am hoping for a little relief in the process of us working together as a nation to fix this shit. Ok I already have to worry about my job situation will I be able to return to work from this nearly 6month layoff? What about gas for my car? Bills, Bills, Bills? Then you want to stress me even more so about healthcare now. Ok I don't make 250,000.00/ yr and If i did I would gladly pay more taxes.. Another thing is why in the hell are we paying income taxes when not a SINGLE PENNY of that money goes toward anything to do with our government. Did you know that the IRS is PRIVATELY OWNED and so is the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK neither have anything to to with the actual order and ruling of our Government. In 1913 the secretary of state was paid off by JP Morgan to convince the house to vote in favor of a Capital bank who would print our money and charge it's own country interest on it's own money just because we put ourselves in a seat of dependancy. So Not only do they print the money but they charge us for that then they loan us money with double interest because they charege to print it then to loan it to us. Why don't we take this authority away from them. Thomas Jeffereson said that "the worst mistake ever would be to allow a capital bank to print our money because it would enslave the people all over again" Well we made that mistake in 1913 The man with the money runs the world. Now we have traded in the real value which was our GOLD for paper. The banks used to have the gold and we had paper money to account for the gold we had in safe keeping. Let's be proactive!!!!
