I've been mostly active as a visual artist professionally
but have played music all my life.
I'm interested in pretty much all kinds of music.
I've been collaborating with a friend for 10 years mostly trading wave files to construct soundscapes.We have never performed live but will do so very soon.
I've mostly worked with Adobe Audition to create pieces on the PC. Now that I have a synth/midi keyboard I am very interested in getting a handle on programs such as Abelton Live, Reason etc.
Recently I've become more interested in doing more actual recording of instruments and playing in a live setting...that is a big next step for me.

So far, I've only worked with one person. we've tended to pass files back and forth and get together occasionally to confab.
I really like the collaborative environment. There is a certain amount of surprise that you get when pieces unfold and grow.

Vintage Fender stratocaster, PC,Adobe audition, Novation X station 49 keyboard,Peavey Studio Pro amp,Oahu lapsteel guitar, various acoustic guitars,old upright Baldwin piano,
various and sundried other noise making things...anything that rattles, shakes, hums, plucks or buzzes.....nothing is sacred in our house in terms of making sounds.
