The main reason I went with the .mp3 format was because I was running out of time, and I figured everyone would be swamping indaba's server at the same time. I also don't trust my DSL service as it can be flaky at times, so I wanted something that could be uploaded quickly.
I really don't like the .mp3 format in anything before iTunes Plus. You lose a lot of low-end and it's definitely not as loud. I remembered a workaround for that though. I create an equalizer column and I make my own presets (not surprisingly, most of the iTunes presets don't sound good to me). I also crank the preamp fader up, since there tends to be a volume loss as well. I think someone said it best recently when they commented that we have all this modern technology to record music with, but so many people are listening to the end product in inferior sound formats.
So thank you very much for your encouraging comments. I still need to finish the Passenger remix, and that will happen this week. Maybe I should've focused all my attention on that contest instead, since only forty-seven people or so entered. There was still that problem of having two-days to start and complete a mix, but I like those odds a lot better!

The sounds and chords are beautiful. Your tags of dreamy, uplifting, and chill-out all apply. I just wish the song were a little bit longer.
