Tom, Good to hear from a "brother". Makes you wonder if we are related somehow. Thanks for the comment. I'll check out your site soon. Peace.

I have a mic and a recording program that came with my comp, lol

This is seriously like the third time in the last couple days someone has asked me if I listen to Dirty Projectors. I REALLY need to just go out and buy a damn album, lol.
I'd love to collaborate. I'm new to this whole Indaba stuff, actually have yet to do any collaborating. My violin skills (if you could call it skill) are very basic, though I feel like I have a good ear for it. Just don't expect anything flashy, hehe.
But yeah, man. Lemme know what you wanna do! I have recording gear (mostly borrowed from my band's sound guy) and a crap load of instruments.

Josh Jackson wrote on August 31, 2009:

By the way, I dig your stuff.

Josh Jackson wrote on August 31, 2009:

Hey man, thanks.

The name of my band is The Anthemeers. I actually just sing back up. Don't have anything recorded quite yet, got our debut show on Sept 12th, but after that we'll be in the studio getting some tracks down.

Kayrin Stratmann wrote on August 31, 2009:

Heya, your offer sounds interesting, but I have to let you know that currently my college classes are starting up and I don't know how much time I'll have. Send me sheet music for it and a track and I can get it done most likely quicker.

Danny Hajek wrote on August 20, 2009:

hey tom, i actually didn't win that roots contest...it was a 2-part thing, and they didn't chose my second remix.
you should ask these guys here, they got first place:

yeah i'm a londoner. fabric is a must at least once, but i've outdone it a fair bit. get's grimier & busier each time.

Ishtar *. wrote on August 14, 2009:

thanks :) your chilled out moog style track is really nice. the dubstep clip is sounding pretty sweet; looking forward to hearing the finished version & your forthcoming dubstep tunes.
I love the darkstyle dub, but all types are good. keep me updated.
