Working With Others

How I Work:

My studio rate is $50 per hour. Location work is $150 per day plus $50 per hour, plus travel and other costs as required. See http://www.thefaro.com/triprice.html for more info.

I collaborate on my music projects with Alex Oliver (the other half of Poppermost), who is a singer (lead and harmony), songwriter (words and music), and multi-instrumentalis (acoustic and electric guitars, piano and synth, drums, and banjo.

Experience:

Equipment:

32-track Protools LE with MBox on an Apple MacBook Pro, or Tascam 688 20-channel mixer / 8-track analog tape recorder with outboard effects rack. Shure SM57, SM58, and SM81 mics. Monitoring is with Sennheiser HD425 and Sony MDR-7506 headphones, and JBL 10" 3-wqy studio speakers or 15" 3-way PA system with an Alesis RA100 studio reference amplifier. Samson 2-channel direct box. Mid-'80s Fender Jazz and Allied Radio 1967 bass guitars with Gallien-Krueger bass amp. Fender Strat and Brownsville electric guitars with Guitar Research guitar amp. Sigma by Martin acoustic guitar. Yamaha DJX synth and DTXpressIII electronic drum set.

intersting , nice song, go's from "girl" to "magical mystery tour" and then to a bit of "good vibrations"

id say less reverb and a better mix to bring out some clarity in the vocals would help
