True Blue MAGIC was born as PaChino Baker in Memphis, Tennessee. He is also known as Chino Casino or Mack Blue from the legendary underground group "Contraversy" in Indianapolis, Indiana . His stage name, True Blue MAGIC stems from an early childhood nickname "Blue", given by his father who stated “I took your name out the sky & ocean, then gave it to you”. He later changed it to True Blue MAGIC after seeing American Gangster... it was a drug that took over the communities, as he is sure that his lyrics will do the same! He has been noticed as one of Memphis' hottest underground freestylists, songwriters and spoken-word poets. True Blue MAGIC continues to establish one's self as one of the undergrounds greatest and most versatile artists, since the Legendary 2 Pac & Biggie. He hasn't competed in any competitions, due to the fact that he started rapping in church, at the alter!!! It started on a memorial day, that his Great Grandmother passed away, & in which he then spoke his heart out to the world!!! Every since that tender age of 14 he has made countless spoken-word appearances, from Sunday Church gatherings, to traveling other states and establishing the name Chino Casino in the house of the Lord! True Blue MAGIC was adopted years later, while being incarcerated for a crime he didn't commit. Ashamed of the vulgar language he started to use in his music to express his self, he chose the new identity, so it wouldn't be affiliated with his work in the church. Known for making hit after hit in the Underground world, and performances covering all areas of entertainment ranging from dancing, stand up comedy, and everything in between. He's always been actively involved with helping the community. Due to the guilt of his accomplishments from his language, he made the decision to temporarily step down from the alter, and keep God in his heart as he approached the Stage!!! The world has no idea of what is next to come......

"If you don't know me, then you should get to know me, because, I feel I am the next generation of fame-2-be... my life is based on growing & developing, so if you choose to help me plant this seed of music, we all shall feast in the season of harvest!"

DND AKA Jew Hefner wrote on March 11, 2010:

Whats hapnin bro. Just made a new track in need of some feedback hope u can provide,

The track is called "This Is South Africa (Day & Night)"
This is a track that I was just itching to do, it's about my homeland South Africa and the problems with the country. By most people it'll certainly be considered racist unless you listen to what I say carefully, what I'm saying is when White people were in power it may have been a racist regime, but at least everyone had food, education, clean water... I am not attacking Black people in South Africa as a whole but am attacking the Black government. If you listen to what I say carefully I stand up for the Black people screwed over by this corrupt, incompetent government. I talk about how Black people who put the government in power were screwed over because of how much worse it is seventeen years down the line. I attack a government in the same way 50 Cent attacks "Crackers", in the same way NWA does, in the same way Public Enemy does...The irony of this track is though that under the apartheid system rap was banned because it was considered a "Bantu threat to the government", something to ponder on I guess. But remember listen properly! And if you still want to listen to the track I'd love some feedback. Thanks to my man Nascent for production and my boy AM for mixing and mastering.

Thanks,
Peace
