My name is Jamie Smythe and I am a Canadian musician. I have studied music for over 13 years mainly towards drums and percussion and around 5 years with synth's and acoustic guitars. I am in a band called The Mission Light from Winnipeg, MB. I am currently living in downtown Vancouver ,B.C. and have been in an Audio Engineering/ Music Production course in North Vancouver, B.C. at Harbourside Institute of Technology to further my skills in recording audio for music, t.v., radio, and film. Over the years I have had many great opportunities playing with some very notable musicians in the Winnipeg scene and as of now, I have moved west to continue meeting industry minded professionals to turn up my learning curve a lot more. I am absolutely amzed with this site and haven't even had the chance to use it all yet. Stop by from time to time and check to see if I might have uploaded new tracks for all of us to put some hours in.. lol thanks for checkin me out!!

- How I Work:
I like to work at night for the majority as I am more creative at that time. I am very self motivated to get work done right and on time. I charge per scenario because from my experience.. no two projects are ever the same, so it depends on budgets and timelines. I enjoy volunteering for work experience and it helps me build a network base of skilled industry professionals that feel the same way I do about music and how powerful music really can be with the right people around.
